LiuGong Chairman, Zeng Guang’an, was appointed to the board of Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU). The school is one of the major Chinese Universities in cultivating high-level talent for foreign languages and intercultural communications. There was a brief ceremony in the morning of September 11, where talent cultivation as well as the cooperative study on international and regional affairs was discussed. The appointment further emphasizes LiuGong’s commitment to global expansion and high-level talent recruitment.

Chinese Premier Li Keqiang presided over a government meeting on manufacturing upgrades and economic restructuring in Beijing. Vice Premier Ma Kai, State Councilor, Secretary General of the State Council Yang Jing, State Councilor Wang Yong, government officials from related ministries and commissions and executives from more than 60 leading Chinese manufacturers were present at the meeting.

From July 13 to 16, the second Economic and Technological Exhibition for Lancang-Mekong Cooperation (LMC) is being held at the Diamond Island Exhibition and Convention Center in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. LiuGong, exhibiting in one of the largest booths, showcased 5 tough machines not only including its latest H series 856 wheel loader, E series 922 excavator and CLG6122E roller, CPCD30 forklift, also, for the first time, LiuGong showcased its stone telescopic handler outside of China. The stone telescopic handler, which has been put into operation in a marble mine by the local Quarrying Association, has been highly praised by the customers for its excellent performance in any working conditions.

LiuGong celebrated selling over 350,000 wheel loaders worldwide. More than 300 people including representatives from the government and industry associates, founding members of LiuGong, customers of LiuGong’s first generation products, dealers, partners, key accounts and media attended the ceremony to witness the historical moment.

Today, the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation (BRF) was held in Beijing. The BRF is the highest level of international conference held by China since the major initiative of the “Belt and Road” was put forward by President Xi Jinping in 2013. The forum has attracted 28 heads of state and government as well as people from enterprises, institutions, organizations and the media. Chairman Zeng Guang’an of LiuGong Group was invited to attend the forum.
